L. Keith Rye

Keith Rye serves as Chief Operating Officer of Vigilant Health, a technology enabled service company focused on transforming current provider clinic models to patient-focused, valued-based operating models.

He is an experienced advisor focused on strategic direction, business development, and M&A opportunities in the population health/patient engagement sector. Prior to joining Vigilant Health, he served as advisor for TWN and Granite Bridge Partners. He is a seasoned health care executive, thought leader and strategist with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He is a visionary in developing industry-leading models for population health and execution in early stage ventures. He has in-depth knowledge and understanding of how health care provider organizations, community health, and information technology intersect to improve individual and population health. He led highly successful business development strategies for a number of start-up and merger/acquisition ventures in the health care services sector, including CivicHealth and Strategic Health Services.

Rye’s experience includes leadership positions in some of the nation’s largest health care provider systems, including Columbia/HCA and HealthTrust Inc. His first start-up venture was serving as a co-founder, director and investor of Gordian Health Solutions, Inc. He holds a dual degree in mathematics and business administration from The Citadel, as well as an MBA degree from Belmont University.
